Not knowingly, the man found himself stuck in that kind of situation one cannot control, and he found it was bliss, giving away will to powers beyond, and thus, losing all kind of attachment to responsibility of consequences.
That man is called James, and although he did like it in a sick kind of way, he has stopped being comfortable.
Will have to start making choices soon.
